About this product
Ortho Orthene Fire Ant Killer Broadcast Granules is meant for treating the whole yard, not just the mounds you notice. Spread with a broadcast spreader and watered in, one 13 lb. bag covers up to 5,650 sq. ft. and is rated to guard against fire ants for up to 6 months. It's built as step two of Ortho's 2-step fire ant system, working alongside a separate mound treatment.
